Eubank Ranch is located outside of the historic town of Gonzales, Texas. Gonzales is known for being the location of the first shot fired during the war of Texas Independence. On October 2, 1835, 18 townsmen stood on the bank of the Guadalupe and refused to give back a small canyon to Mexican nationals, while displaying the classic "Come and Take it" flag. Later in the war, the "immortal 32" were the only support troops that were able to make it to the Alamo before it was taken under siege. Today, the town of Gonzales is proud of their history, with an incredible museum collection, including the original cannon, and an annual "Gonzales Day" every October 2 that celebrates and remembers the town's rich history.
Eubank Ranch offers a picturesque 2,200 square foot, two story, 4 bedroom 2 bath home complete with a beautiful stone fireplace in the living room. Relax in the mornings or evenings overlooking the spectacular 4 acre fishing lake from your beautiful wrap around porch. The water service to the ranch house and 6 stall horse barn is supplied by a rural public water service provider, with two additional water wells on the ranch.
Livestock and Wildlife
The ranch terrain is gently rolling hills with open native grass pastures and hay meadows. Dotting this gorgeous landscape are majestic oak, pecan and multiple other hardwood trees that provide great cover and forage for livestock such as cattle or horses, as well as the resident whitetail, turkey, dove, quail and various other wildlife species that call this ranch home. There are multiple dirt stock tanks and wet weather creeks throughout the property that provide great water sources for livestock and wildlife.
