Born, raised, and educated in New Braunfels, TX, Kristofer and his wife, both fifth-generation New Braunfels natives, now raise their two daughters in nearby Kingsbury. He boasts a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science and a minor in Business from Angelo State University, equipping him with a solid foundation in both agricultural and business sectors. Kristofer’s career began in the construction industry, where he excelled as a superintendent for a local custom home builder. This role provided him comprehensive insights from initial lot assessment to the final walkthroughs of newly constructed homes. Identifying a need for eco-friendly and cost-effective land clearing in the area, he launched Double K Contractors, Inc. Over the past 18 years, his business has specialized in advanced land clearing techniques, fencing, and the development of efficient livestock watering systems, often in collaboration with the USDA-Natural Resources Conservation Service. As an active 4-H parent, Kristofer’s commitment extends beyond real estate to community and youth development, where he helps nurture young agricultural enthusiasts. His personal and professional life is deeply intertwined with the land, enjoying time with his family at their ranch engaging in hunting, fishing, and farming.
