Legacy Broker Group (“Legacy Broker Group,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a Texas real estate brokerage serving clients across our Land & Ranch, Luxury & Residential, and Commercial divisions in Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, and Oklahoma. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through www.legacybrokergroup.com, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you submit a contact form, request a broker’s price opinion, ask about a listing, sign up for property alerts, or apply to join our team, we collect what you provide — typically your name, email address, phone number, the property or market you are interested in, and any message you write. If you engage us as a client, we collect the additional information a real estate transaction requires.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we log technical information when you visit: IP address, browser and device type, referring page, the pages you view, and the searches you run against our property search tools. We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, remember your preferences, and understand how the site is used.

Property search activity. Our listing search is powered by third-party real estate data services. Searches you run, listings you view, and listings you save may be recorded and associated with your contact record so that we and your agent can help you effectively.

How we use your information

We use the information above to respond to your inquiries and connect you with the right agent; to provide brokerage services and carry out transactions; to send listing alerts, market updates, and marketing communications you have asked for; to operate, secure, and improve the website; and to meet our legal, regulatory, and recordkeeping obligations as a licensed Texas real estate brokerage.

How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information.

We share information with our agents and staff so they can assist you; with service providers who operate the tools we depend on — customer relationship management, email delivery, website hosting and analytics, electronic document and transaction management — under agreements that limit their use of it to serving us; with other parties to a transaction and their representatives, and with title companies, lenders, inspectors, and similar participants, where that is necessary to complete a transaction you are part of; with multiple listing services and real estate data aggregators as required to list and market property; and where we are required to by law, subpoena, or regulatory authority, or where necessary to protect our rights or the safety of others.

Your choices and rights

You can unsubscribe from marketing email at any time using the link in any message we send, and you can ask us to stop contacting you by phone or text. You can set your browser to refuse cookies, though parts of the site may not work as intended.

Texas residents have rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, and residents of other states may have comparable rights under their own laws. These generally include the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to request a copy of it, to have it corrected or deleted, and to opt out of targeted advertising. To exercise any of these rights, contact us through our contact page and tell us what you would like us to do. We will verify your request before acting on it, and we will not discriminate against you for making one.

Some information we are obliged to keep. Texas law and our obligations as a licensed brokerage require us to retain transaction records for a set period, and a deletion request cannot override that.

Security, retention, and children

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we hold, and we limit access to those who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described here and for as long as our legal and regulatory obligations require.

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Third-party sites and changes to this policy

Our site links to third-party websites and services we do not control, including listing platforms and mapping providers. Their privacy practices are their own, and we encourage you to read them.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes will be made clear on this page rather than buried in it.

Questions about this policy, or about the information we hold about you, can be sent through our contact page and will be directed to the broker.
