Requesting deletion of your information
If you have registered on legacybrokergroup.com, including by signing in with a Google or Facebook account, you may ask us to delete the personal information we hold about you. This page explains how to make that request and what happens after you do.
How to make a request
Email marketing@legacybrokergroup.com with the subject line Data Deletion Request. So that we can locate your record, please include:
- the name and email address you registered with;
- the phone number you provided, if any;
- whether you registered using an email address, a Google account, or a Facebook account.
You do not need an account or a password to make a request, and there is no charge.
What happens next
We acknowledge every request within 5 business days and complete deletion within 30 days. We remove your contact record from our customer relationship management system, from our email and marketing lists, and from our internal systems.
Information we may be required to keep
Where the Texas Real Estate Commission, other regulators, or applicable law require a licensed brokerage to retain certain records, we retain only those records, only for the period required, and we use them for no other purpose. If any of your information falls into this category, we will tell you which information and why when we respond to your request.
Removing our access is not the same as deleting your data
If you registered using a Google or Facebook account, you can disconnect Legacy Broker Group from that account at any time:
- Facebook: Settings and Privacy, then Settings, then Apps and Websites.
- Google: Google Account, then Security, then Your connections to third-party apps and services.
Disconnecting stops any further information being shared with us, but it does not delete information we already hold. To have that deleted, use the email request above.
Questions
